Good question! In case anyone else is wondering also, Bandcamp made all of our releases cost $5, and any individual song cost $1 because we “ran out of download credits,” and though I know this is just one of those situations where I totally ignored the terms/conditions and naively ran into free music-heaven when uploading our entire discography on there two years ago, I think it really sucks and after finding this out immediately took all of our material down. That’s just not the way we’re going to do that. Especially when we’re not a band anymore. SO, I’m currently working to get all of our releases up for free download on the Cat Dead Details Later (the label that put out the 7” of Okumay)’s website.
We’ll announce that as soon as it happens!

Our last release “Okumay” is now up on Quote Unquote records. You can order the 7” here: http://catdead.bigcartel.com/. So far I’ve been packaging all these up to mail out with my great pal Nate Rubin (1/2 of Cat Dead Details Later, Super Strummer of Billy Raygun, and [more recently] dwayne ‘the rock’ johnson of the drums in Hayfever. Its late enough for this type of a thing to be like this type of a thing) so if there’s anything that you want me to do particularly with your package, certainly just include it in the paypal order’s notes, this means, I can draw you a small animal, or perhaps give you one of my many copies of some weird band’s cd entitled “masked dancers”.
Also, Ty Ueda, with some camera assistance from James Attridge, put together a really wonderful video presentation of our final show that we played a few weeks ago at Plaistow’s Vic Geary Center with a lot of our best pals. You can watch dat here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZZK4H3pBj4&fb_source=message
It does feel super strange to be announcing that our record is up for download on Quote Unquote right now. I can assure all of you who are reading that neither Zach, Andrew, or I ever thought that this would happen. Mainly because quite a large handful of all three of our favorite records of all time reside on that website and when something holds that much importance in your life you don’t really ever fathom yourself being a part of it, but rather just alway feel blessed that it does exist and that you get to know that it exists. I still actually can’t really…I don’t really know how something I had a part in ended up on the same website as Phil Douglas’s drum tone on Choke On A Cheeseburger (which I do believe to be the most ideal drum sound for anybody who is ever anybody), To Leave Or Die and Goodbye Cool World’s unprecedented atmospheres, every other Bomb record’s irrefutable earnestness, The Cans’ A RECORD which marks the magnificent start of something that (at this point) I could not live without, and DOOOOD CHRIIIKKKKYYYYYY Set Ourselves Free (aLKDJF:SLKDfja;lskdjfa;sldkjfpwoeirf) BUUUUUT this is the case and I believe that it’s something to love and adore and accept and be proud of. Which trust me, we are.
If for whatever reason you haven’t downloaded all 51 releases off of Quote Unquote, do yourself the favor and clear up that little bit of hard drive space. Gotta trust me Jobin.
Thank you everyone who helped this release become what it has.
Hope yr homework’s treating you right.
Love ya.
